Hope for children in figures
Since 2005, the year in which the NGO Hope for Children was founded, this are the results
800 children in the village of Budila have a playground in the mayoral park
1000 -1200 children admitted annually to the Children's Hospital Brasov, benefit from the modernization and endowments made in the hospital canteen and in the 6 salons
30 children in the children's homes have a playground
60 children with special needs, received wheelchairs, bedding, wheelchair and travel support; all being used daily to make their lives easier
200 orphan children were in the Black Sea camps
4 children's homes-orphanages have new furniture, home appliances, have been renovated
2500 square meters of land bought, land on which the multifunctional center and camps are built
50 disadvantaged children participated at cultural trades courses
300 orphan children receive annual visits from volunteers of the Hope for Children Association
General presentation
The Hope for Children organization is a non-governmental organization that tends towards a nationwide organization in subsidiaries, whose activity, mostly based on the principles of volunteering, is aimed at promoting the rights of the child, as they are stipulated in The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The organizational form of the Hope for Children organization is the non-profit association, founded by four founding members, together with about 100 volunteers of our organization, all working in the spirit of volunteering, trying to achieve the goals and objectives that led to the founding of our association .
Mission
Hope for Children is centered on the child and aims at raising awareness, influencing and educating public opinion about children's issues.
